Adventure
From rainforest to glacier in seven days. Our KPAP-certified teams guide one of the highest summit success rates on the mountain. You climb pole pole — slowly, steadily.

Beach
Stone Town's alleys smell of cardamom and saltwater. North-east coast beaches drop straight into reef. The perfect tail end after dust, sun and game drives.

Culture
We are Maasai-owned. Village visits are not a show — they are an introduction to neighbours and family. You drink chai, ask questions, and leave with more than photos.
Culture, adventure, and unforgettable moments.

We're a Maasai-owned operator. Every guide is local. Every porter is paid KPAP-certified fair wages. Profits stay in Tanzania — funding schools, conservation, and the community we come from. When you travel with us, you're not just visiting Tanzania; you're investing in the people who call it home.
We work with the Kilimanjaro Porter Assistance Project on porter welfare. We partner with local schools, funding new classrooms each year. Our vehicles are maintained locally; our food sourced from regional farms. Every safari you book helps strengthen this network of local impact.
Our guides made the impossible feel achievable. Pole pole was real — we made it to Uhuru Peak on day 6. Stella Point at sunrise is something I'll never forget.

Three days of game drives with Maasai Travels and we saw the Big Five plus the great migration crossing. Our guide knew exactly where the predators would be.
Being hosted by a Maasai-owned company changed everything. The cultural visit to the village wasn't a tourist show — it was an honest exchange.
Six storied corners of Tanzania — from the high glaciers of Kilimanjaro to the spice islands of Zanzibar.

The dry season from June to October is ideal for game viewing — wildlife concentrates around water sources and grasses are short. January and February offer the calving season in the southern Serengeti, where you can witness predator action. The shoulder seasons (March and November) bring lower prices and fewer crowds, with green landscapes after the rains.

Yes — Tanzania is widely considered one of East Africa's safest destinations for tourists. We host many solo travelers each year, including solo women. Our guides are vetted, our vehicles tracked, and we offer female guides on request. You're rarely alone on tour — most travel happens in small group convoys with the team.
